1. My app refuses to sync when I’m at home (with wifi connection), any suggestions?
2. I added 2 climbs this morning that were outside a guidebook, any idea as to why they’re not showing up on the map?
3. So confused as to why in ‘my bouldr’ my guidebook says to have 16 climbs, however when I go to access it on my phone it has no climbs.. Mind you, none of the climbs were added by me..
OK, it looks to be a problem with the code that detects whether a wifi network connection is available or not. You’re definitely connected to one, right (just to be absolutely sure)?
I’m going to change this for those people that don’t have wifi or want to sync when out of wifi connectivity to allow sync over any connection.
Cheers Pat. I’ll fix this tonight, and get the updated version out for Apple to approve.
It’ll take about a week for the update to become available (due to the approval process). If you’d like, I can add you to my list of beta testers so that you can get the latest unreleased features to play with before they are made available. I’ll also be able to send you a fixed version of the app immediately.
It’s no hassle at all, I just want to help out with a great app! I’d be more than happy to help you with beta testing. If you wanna contact me via email/msn feel free to send me a message on patbanda@hotmail.com, bit easier than chatting on a forum.
Hey,
I had the same problem, and ended up removing the app and re-installing it. the second time it sync’d correctly. Before that, adding any photo’s or information in the bouldr app on the i-phone just didn’t work.
3 Things..

RE: 3 Things..
Hi Pat,
Do you get any error messages when you try to sync?

RE: 3 Things..
Nop, it starts syncing and then just cancels and returns to the main page..

Looked at the logs, and can’t see any errors on the server side. Looks like a problem with the app, so it’ll take a bit longer to figure out.
I’ll let you know ASAP.

I was having the same issue of app not syncing. had to uninstall, then reinstall to get my guidebooks to show up.
