RE: delete climb

I didn’t get chance to put any delete functionality into this version (which is now quite old). New version of the site is in the works, and that version will have delete functions in.

It’s not quite as simple as deleting the climb – as the site is wiki based, one person can’t be allowed to delete climbs on a whim, as it may destroy other peoples work.

If you need anything deleted, just shoot me a message for now.

Strange. No, I haven’t done anything since I wrote my post. I can’t find it now either so it seems to have been deleted.

My question still stands though; how do I delete a climb if I would like to?

delete climb

Hi,

I don’t know if this is the right place to bring this up, but here I go. I just downloaded the iphone app and tried it around to see what is was all about. to see how the “Add climb” function worked I just created a bogus climbing problem with a photo of inside my apartment and some bogus text. Now I want to delete it from the site and from my profile but can’t find where to do that. perhaps i’m not looking close enough, but can someone help me. I don’t want to be responsible for spamming the site.

Showing who's updated climbs

I think it would be a good idea if it was possible to see who had updated climbs and be told if one of the climbs you added has been updated.

I can see two reasons for this first, up till now i have been the only person adding climbs in this area, so would love to see who else is now adding climbs here, and maybe arrange to meet up for a climb.

Also if things are changed incorrectly then it could be traced to see who had changed the climb. For example one of the climbs i have added has had the location of the climb changed. this was probably done accidentally when the climb was updated but the new position was along way from where the climb is.

Is the location of the climb changed to users location when a climb is updates on the phone???
