Hey, I'm Leah. My family has always climbed, and I've been raised with climbers. I stopped climbing when I was 9 because my step dad wanted me to go out for "ball sports". I lost all strength, and became a soft basketball and volleyball player through middleschool. The whole time up till Jr. year in HS, I was climbing off and on, but I never got as strong as I used to be. I am climbing a lot more now that I can choose what I want to do for sports. In fact, I got hooked up with a job at a climbing gym in San Marcos, CA. I love the job. The climbing part. I can't stand babysitting, and thats mostly all the job is. I still climb in J tree, and Dixon. I used to climb in Yosimite, Red Rocks, you name it. Last summer, I was able to go climbing in Utah and Wyoming. It was amazing. I made a bet with one of my climbing buddys that if I stemmed all the way up a certain 5.9, that he had to drink a whole pitcher of beer. Amazing. :) I may end up climbing in Costa Rica this summer, so I'm stoked. We are gonna go out there and meet some really chill people and eat some good food :)
